Venom Foundation Hits 150k TPS in Stress Test, Eyes 2025 Mainnet Upgrade
The Venom Foundation has demonstrated its next-generation blockchain protocol’s capability to process 150,000 transactions per second (TPS) in a closed-network stress test. This milestone paves the way for a 2025 mainnet upgrade that could position Venom among the highest-throughput public blockchains.
"Throughput only matters if it can remain reliable under pressure," said Venom’s CEO. The new architecture reportedly handles enterprise-scale workloads without fee spikes or decentralization compromises—a critical requirement for payment providers, exchanges, and gaming studios.
Technical documents reveal the DAG-based mempool consensus could theoretically scale beyond 400,000 TPS in synthetic benchmarks while maintaining real-time finality. The solution also emphasizes fair order FLOW mechanics, though implementation details remain undisclosed.
